Position Overview:

As the Head of Product at Art of Football, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings and driving the growth of our brand. You will lead the product development team, working closely with design, manufacturing, and marketing teams to create compelling and marketable products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both football culture and fashion trends, along with a proven track record in product management within the sportswear or fashion industry.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Product to join our team and drive the development of our football-inspired sportswear line.

Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Development:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with our brand vision and market demands.

  • Lead the ideation, conceptualisation, and design of football-inspired sportswear and fashion products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, style and sustainable practices.

Market Research and Trend Analysis:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies in sportswear and fashion.

  • Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities, analyse competitors, and anticipate market shifts.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers and designers, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and collaboration.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and production, to ensure seamless execution of product strategies and launches.

Quality Control and Supplier Management:

  • Establish and maintain stringent quality control standards for all products, ensuring they meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, negotiating contracts and terms to optimise production processes and costs.

Sales Analysis and Strategy:

  • Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify product performance patterns and areas for improvement.

  • Develop sales strategies, promotions, and product launches to drive revenue growth and enhance brand presence.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Fashion Design, Merchandising, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in product management, preferably in the sportswear or fashion industry, with a focus on high-quality apparel production.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing sportswear or fashion product lines.

  • Strong understanding of football culture, trends, and consumer behaviour in the context of sportswear and fashion.

  • Experience and/or strong knowledge of the footwear industry.

  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to balance creativity with commercial viability, understanding market demands and customer preferences.

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
